Scott Wilson - Certified Flight Instructor
Our Certificated Flight Instructor is Scott Wilson. Scott has loved airplanes and aviation since he was a child. After years of building plastic scale model airplanes, he joined the US Air Force in 1980 to work on the real thing. Scott served eleven years and worked as an avionics technician on communication and navigation systems on F-4C and F-4E Phantom jet fighters in Texas, California and Germany, then was assigned to Washington State where he worked on C-130E Hercules and C-141B Starlifter transports.
Scott earned his Private Pilot Certificate while stationed at Ramstein Air Base, West Germany in 1986. He now has commercial single and multi-engine land airplane ratings, an instrument rating, and a flight instructor rating. He has been living in Hawaii since May 2014. His wife is from Kauai and she is happy to be home again!
